IT Integrator hosts a Packed New Technology Event using Marketing Automation

A global IT consultancy firm delivers a packed Block Chain Technology event in Madrid

Challenge:

With less than 6 weeks, a leading Global IT Integrator wished to attract CIOs from leading companies in Spain and surrounding countries to a second Global Block Chain event held in Madrid with ambitions to inform and generate leads

Solution:

Used a SharpSpring Marketing Automation platform to develop a series of 17 emails designed to engage and drive registration and count down reminders to the event. Customers and Prospect was segmented by persona, country and spoken language.  Campaign developed with content in Spanish and English. A 3rd party telemarketing agency was given access to the SharpSpring platform to ONLY access “open” leads from this campaign and using automations and simple tick boxes could nurture the leads to complete registration. Actions available included, resend invitation, auto register and forward questions. Simple registration codes allowed tracking all attendees and automated follow up campaigns maintained engagement to both attendees and non-attendees.

Outcome

325 registration were made to the event and over 250 attended. All attendees were tracked with an invitation code, so all attendee details were captured. A review 1 month after confirmed that 17 of the attendees were formal sales opportunities with a pipeline value over €10 million.
